In the distant 1831st a self-taught mechanic Cyrus McCormick began to produce the first mechanical harvesters in the United States. After 60 years, his company united with a competitor, creating a concern, called the International Harvester Company (International Combine Company) in 1902. The engineer Edward Johnson who worked there in 1905 created the first proto-truck Auto-buggy , which went into series in 1907.
